Wildfire road

Wildfire Road is a dedicated play written to connect humanity with the destruction of planet Earth in a metaphorical connection to climate change.
The original play was written by Eve Leigh and directed by Laura Keefe, and constructs a gripping story of a hijacked plane set to land in Tokyo. The hijacker is a representation of the future and diverts the plane to Siberia, where it's the only surviving land not engulfed in flames.
For the project, I was a Scenic team manager who primarily worked on colour coordinating the entire piece from the model box.
I made a vast collection of scenery, with a large colour palette and a varying amount of complex construction.

'AI' Movable plane windows. These were painted using ROSCO's paint and B@Q Super Latex White Emulsion.
I hand-drew the letters and finished the piece with Flint's Gloss Glaze.

Customised plane seats.
The print was custom-made by the designed and I used a textiles company called Prinfab to get the correct size and measurements. While the seats were donated by British Airways.
